Ford Offering Monroney Reprints for 2007-2012 Ford, Lincoln, Mercury Models

Generally, right after purchasing a new car, most people scrape the Monroney sticker (that’s “window sticker” to most of you readers) off the window and throw it away, but Ford Motor Company is now offering a reprint of these price labels for owners of Ford, Lincoln and Mercury models ranging from the 2007 through 2012 model years. While this might not be a major concern for everyday cars, it should prove to be a unique service for owners of collector cars such as Mustangs and SVT performance vehicles.

Ford’s Performance Group Info Center is able to reproduce the exact Monroney from the day the car rolled off the assembly line, and all it needs is a vehicle identification number (VIN) and $15 (plus tax). Ford did note that the vehicle must have been sold through dealer stock and notes that there are some stickers that may not be available.

This could improve the value for collector models such as a GT500 or it could be as a keepsake of the purchase of your first new car, but it could also help improve private party used-car sales by being able to show prospective buyers exactly what equipment the vehicle came with from the factory.

To check out this service, either visit Ford’s window sticker website or call them toll-free at 800-FORD-788.
