While driving through the countryside and glancing at all the different barns and houses, rarely will any one ever think of finding a $350,000+ investment in an abandoned barn just sitting waiting to be found. Just make sure you turn around and double check, we decided to share with you a 1965 Shelby GT350 Mustang that was sold at the 2012 Barret-Jackson auction for a sky-high $385,000 after auction fees.
Clearly, a car that has been sitting this long needs a little tender love and care here and there, but having only one original owner and only 44,000 original miles in a span of 47 years, the damage was minimal. Maintenance is up to date making this car 100% reliable and drivable. Looking a little further into it, the Mustang is 100% authentic. Having the original matching number of the engine, drivetrain and original paint, this car was definitely a garage queen its whole life. Or should we say, a Barn queen?
