Ford Motor Company sold 179,119 vehicles in February 2012 in the United States, representing a 14 percent increase on February 2011. Sales of both Ford and Lincoln were up by 14 and 16 percent, respectively.
Most notably, the Ford Focus saw a whopping 115 percent spike, selling 23,350 units — the car’s best sales performance since 2000, while F-Series sales totaled 47,273 units — a 26 percent increase. Additionally, the Escape set a February sales record and moved 18,666 copies while sales of the Mustang increased by 98.8 percent to 7,351 units. Unfortunately, sales of the Fiesta, Taurus, and Flex declined by 12, 23, and 14.5 percent, respectively.
