2015 Ford Mustang Gets Rendered In 3D: Video

Update: Ford has officially pulled the wraps off the all-new 2015 Mustang.

The 2015 Mustang is coming. It will be smaller and lighter than the current model while sporting a modern design. And the following 3D rendering might be the best look at how the 6th-generation sports car will look like.

The 3D walkaround is the result of a compilation of various spy shots that have made their way around the interwebs over the last several months. Sure, the rendering is missing the finer details of the next Stang’s design, but the general proportions and overall design seem to be right on the money, especially given that Charles — the creator of the 3D rendering — was spot on when it comes to the design of the current S197 generation Stang, using spy shots and JPG images of three CAD files to create it.

The rendered vehicle has a bold and muscular appearance wrapped in what seems to compact overall dimensions. Gone is the retro-themed design of the current model that’s been present and accounted for since the mid-2000s. That said, the rendering is still unmistakably Mustang — although there seems to be something off about the trunk lid.

Either way, feast your eyes on the 3D rendering until we get to see the actual car in a few short months.
