Update: Ford has officially pulled the wraps off the all-new 2015 Mustang.

The 2015 Mustang is coming. It will be smaller and lighter and handle better while also looking like a completely different car than the current fifth-generation model. More than anything, it’s the styling of the next-generation Stang that’s been the topic of many debates, but the following (rather rough) rendering — based on the most recent spy shots — gives us the best look yet at the all-new pony car.

As you can see, the Stang’s proportions look significantly smaller overall, with the front end showing the change in size the most. Compared to the current model, the lights are smaller and thinner, the front fascia has significantly more modern styling cues, and the body in general seems to be stretched along the wheels in a much more meticulous fashion.
