SEMA 2013: DRAGG’s Focus ST Is To Keep The Youth Into Cars

While SEMA 2013 has brought us the vintage-inspired Green Filter USA and SoCal-focused PM Lifestyle Focus STs, the DRAGG Focus ST takes a slightly difference approach. What DRAGG, or Drag Racing Against Gangs & Graffiti, made is a rally-themed Focus ST that’s meant to showcase what the compact hot hatch would look like with law enforcement livery.

You see, DRAGG is all about using the automotive industry and its products “to help youth focus on their future and avoid making decisions that could have a negative impact on their life.” So it only makes sense for the organization to make a car that’s ready to clean up the streets with a custom police car paint job, a few powertrain enhancements, and some police-specific equipment.

Complementing the DRAGG ST’s police looks are Vortech Engineering upgrades for more horsepower, a Bola-designed high-performance bolt-on cat-back exhaust with dual 4.5-inch polished stainless steel tips, Motegi Racing wheels, suspension from Eiback Springs, and Wilwood Engineering brakes. Law enforcement equipment includes a custom push bar, an interior rifle rack, and LED emergency lights.

With fun, cool, and utilitarian hot hatches such as the Focus ST and Fiesta ST, we see no problem in keeping kids off the streets… and into cars.
