If there’s one thing one should be able to execute whilst owning/operating a rear-wheel-drive American pony car, it’s a burnout. Yet this feat could be too much for some. Thankfully, for you pansies, Ford will introduce a burnout control system in the 2015 Mustang, according to a Motor Authority report Notably, this could be that OEM-first feature that we reported on earlier.
Now, it’s possible that the reported introduction of the feature has nothing to do with lack of ability, and that Ford has found a way to somehow roast the tires without punishing the drivetrain. Because, as fun as burnouts are, they’re horrible for the car. We’ll know for sure what Ford has in store for the all-new Mustang as its public debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit draws closer. In the meantime, feel free to drive the new pony in your virtual life.
