Call it inspiring, motivating, exciting… even stimulating. Today, the Ford Mustang is one of the only few remaining vehicles that look great, are (relatively) affordable, good all-around performers, and fun to drive.

Recently, Ford asked its employees, past and present, what they thought of the quintessential pony car. Their answers, which you can see in the video below, range from being fascinated with the way the Stang drives, its “roar”, its muscle, and its grit. And as one employee noted, the pony is an exciting vehicle to nearly everyone with a pulse, whether men, women, children, or grandparents:

We find it interesting that not one employee associated Ford’s pony with being a great handler or having a collected ride, something that the 2015 Mustang will unequivocally change going forward thanks to its new suspension system. In that regard, this clip serves as a barometer of sorts, one that demonstrates where the Mustang has been, and where it is going.
