We’ll go out on a limb and assume that auto show attendees are looking to see the latest and greatest vehicles and automotive technology when going to an auto show, and that the last thing on their minds is to seek employment with one of the automakers. Or is it?
We ask because Audi’s American arm — Audi of America — has brought a Careers at Audi stand to its display at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, with Audi of America Human Resources representatives being present during all days of the show (press and public) “to promote available opportunities”, whether those are at corporate facilities, regional offices, or dealership locations. The move is a first for Audi at NAIAS, and though a bit out of the ordinary, will likely garner some success, since there is power in having people who are truly passionate about your products, your brand, and all that you stand for, go to work for you. At least in our opinion… but what do we know?
