Feature Spotlight: The 2015 Navigator’s Reserve Package Brings Even More Luxury

When it launches this fall, the 2015 Lincoln Navigator will bring Ford’s lauded twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine as well as a host of other upgrades such as an updated MyLincoln Touch infotainment system and an updated interior, as part of a midcycle refresh. What’s more, Lincoln will also offer an optional Reserve Package that increases the level of luxury of the flagship SUV even further. What does that optional package bring to the table? In a word, opulence: new 22-inch wheels and an ultra-luxurious leather with premium Ziricote wood trim.

By default, the Navigator comes standard with 20-inch, machined aluminum wheels, and the Reserve Package replaces those with 22-inch polished aluminum units. Rounding out the changes to the exterior are the optional chrome-accented running boards. But most of the value of the Reserve Package lies on the inside.

The cabin features an updated cabin that extends ultra-luxurious leather to all three rows of seats, as well as to the armrests, center console and transmission shifter. Additionally, the package adds a leather glove box, hand-wrapped instrument panel with contrasting stitching, and premium Ziricote wood  in the trim areas. To note, Ziricote is a natural-grain wood new to the automotive industry that’s most commonly used as an accent in yachts.

So, does any of that make the 2015 Navigator any hotter for you?
