A 10-year old Norwegian boy is more than likely grounded after he stole the family car and took it on a joy ride to his grandmother’s house.
The boy woke up late at night and, apparently on impulse, strapped his baby sister into the car and began driving to his grandma’s house, which was nearly 20 miles away. They made it only six miles before a snowplow driver saw the child’s car stuck in the ditch and pulled over to help what he though was a stranded motorist. It turned out to be the 10-year old boy, who told him that he “was a dwarf” that spun off the road when turning around to get his drivers license. The tow truck driver didn’t believe his story(we cant imagine why) and called the police.
The boy and his sister were not hurt and, reportedly, pretty cheerful when the police arrived. Though we bet that attitude changed quick once the boy’s parents found out he had stolen their car in the middle of the night.
