2015 Ford Mustang GT350 Spied

Now that we have seen the 2015 Ford Mustang in its entirety, it’s time to direct our attention to the impending performance models. Autoblog has acquired spy shots of the next performance oriented ‘Stang, which will reportedly be called GT350.

The spy shots show a vented hood which could possibly be feeding air to a forced-induction powerplant. This goes against earlier reports, which suggested the GT350 would be powered by a naturally aspirated version of Ford’s 5.0 liter Coyote V8. Further separating this test mule from the standard Mustang is the additional venting behind the front wheel arches and the quadruple exhaust setup out back.

The new Mustang is expected to make its debut at the New York Auto Show in April to coincide with the legendary nameplate’s 50th anniversary. April is still some time away, so for the time being, check out the spy shots over on Autoblog.
