Michael Schumacher Unresponsive To Deliberate Stimuli

Whether a fan of Formula 1 racing or not, you know the name Michael Schumacher. Sadly, since falling into a coma after his skiing accident on December 29, 2013, Schumacher, a seven time champion, has been unresponsive to deliberate stiumli, showing only minor twitches, according to sources.

Doctors have spent the last two weeks intensively trying to improve Schumacher’s condition — currently to no avail. This is a man who came out of one of the dangerous sports in the world virtually unscathed, only for something as tame as recreational skiing to put him in a coma.

Keeping in mind the reports, originating from Fox Sports, are still unofficial, though we haven’t heard any official word on the contrary. However, even if Schumacher was to eventually recover, his extended time spent in the coma would almost certainly guarantee a form of personality or mental deterioration. Clinging onto hope, Schumachers wife, Corrina, has dedicated her time to her husband in the hope a familiar voice can aide the German’s recovery. In fact, Ross Braun, who was an integral member of Schumacher’s championship-winning seasons as Team Principle, has been to visit, according to the report’s sources.

Without jumping to conclusions, the signs do not look good for the legendary Schumacher. Stay tuned for further information as it surfaces.
