Kristin Paget, formerly the “Hacker Princess” of California-based Apple and former Microsoft specialist for the Vista security system, has been lured to Tesla Motors by CEO Elon Musk, according to Re/code.
Paget took to Twitter to describe her new task as security-related, stressing she should not be too forthright in disclosing information.
More than a simple snatch, Tesla Motors have gradually been advancing the technology in the Model S, making ground on cloud-software updates. Always looking to pioneer technological advancements, Musk and Straubel, the Chief Technology Officer at Tesla, took to Western Europe to proclaim the coming of the car’s software – Version 6.0. Always ahead of the eight-ball, Tesla shared its new software will include upgrades such as real-time traffic data and suspension control.
