Third Audi City Virtual Store Opens In Berlin

After having success in London and Beijing, the world’s third Audi City opens on Kufurstendamm, one of the most prestigious locations in downtown Berlin, Germany. For the first time ever visitors of the new Audi City will be able to experience Audi in a virtual way and also in stereo 3D. The location will also offer customers the option to change their Audi a maximum of three times a year for a monthly charge.

“Audi City is showing the way to the future of sales. We are combining the best of two worlds with this concept: new digital possibilities and even more personal cus-tomer consultation,” says Luca de Meo, Member of the Board of Management for Sales at AUDI AG. “We are now bringing the flagship of our premium customer approach to Berlin, one of the world’s most exciting cities. Therefore, we have significantly pushed the development of Audi City – with new technologies and exclusive services.”

The new locale will display the brand’s entire lineup in digital form, rather than taking up parking lots of space. Consumers will be able to personalize their Audi, from the A3 to the R8, and schedule a test drive or place an order for their car’s production. What’s different about making purchases at Audi City versus a dealership is that Audi City offers numerous options for personalizing a vehicle that the buyer just can’t get at the average dealership.

Audi says the next Audi City will open in Moscow, Russia. Additionally, Audi City hopes to operate beyond the brand’s core and be a place for major events in the future.
