Two Lamborghinis Hover 12-Stories In The Name Of An NYC Charity Party: Video

Lamborghinis may not be able to fly, but on January 30th, a 2014 Aventador Roadster and a Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradra Corse proved they can hover, with the help of a crane.

The purpose was to get the Italian beauties up to a 12th Story of a building for the “Big Game Big Give” Super Bowl charity party hosted by Alec Baldwin, which took place January 31 in NYC. Tickets ran at a ridiculously high price of $1,000, however, all proceeds went to charity, which is another way of saying it’s a tax write-off. We’re not sure many of us would pay $1,000 to see a couple of Lamborghins hover, let alone hear Alec Baldwin speak, but kudos for the charitable cause.

Ethan Stupp, a friend of Autoblog, was permitted to take pictures and video footage of the cranes. Honestly, not the most fulfilling two-minutes of my day; however, you do get to see the cranes and hovering cars in action.

The video can be seen below.
