Audi first gave us a preview of the Audi S1 hatchback prior to its reveal at the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland early last month. The flagship model of the A1 range features a 231 horsepower TFSI four cylinder engine, Quattro all-wheel drive and sporty Audi S-Line design cues. Now, the car has made its official debut in Geneva and Audi has posted the car’s official world premier video online for us to see.
The Audi S1 will be available in the UK later this spring, with prices starting at £24,900 ($41,518 US) for the three-door and £25,630 ($42,735 US) for the five-door. Currently it is only being offered in two colors, Vegas Yellow or Sepang Blue, and a six-speed manual transmission, though a DCT could be in store for the future. Unfortunately, it won’t be making the cross-Atlantic swim stateside, so the watching video below will be about as close to driving an S1 most American hot-hatch lovers will get.
