Lincoln Celebrates Inspirational African-Americans In New Campaign

Lincoln has created a new campaign called “The Journey,” which will examine inspirational entrepreneurs and dream chasers in the African-American community. The crusade consists of seven documentary-style videos and behind-the-scene pictures including advertisement features for print and digital media.

“As Lincoln continues to tell its reinvention story and attract a more culturally progressive luxury client, opportunities such as this continue to be of great importance,” says Lincoln Manager of multicultural marketing, Shawn Thompson. “These individuals have such inspiring journeys that quite frankly resonate with the brand attributes of Lincoln Motor Company.”

Award-winning singer/songwriter and Lincoln advocate Emeli Sandé is one such individual—she discusses her search for unconditional love throughout the campaign. Also included in the series is award-winning filmmaker Nelson George, award-winning director Kenny Leon, artists Danny Simmons and Afua Richardson, photographer Terrence A. Reese, and couture designer Bobby Joseph.

The campaign can be seen live on www.now.lincoln.com and on Lincoln’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.
