A few days ago Motrolix showed you the white 50th Anniversary Mustang that was unveiled at the 2014 New York International Auto Show. Only 1,964 will be produced, all in either Wimbledon White or Kona Blue. But this week is also the 50th anniversary of the Mustang—April 17th, to be exact—and Ford thought it appropriate to debut the blue car at the huge Mustang celebration that’s being held in Las Vegas.
In this photo, you can see the louvered glass that is exclusive to the Anniversary car. Speaking with Steve Ling, North American Car Marketing Manager, Ford designers thought it gave the vehicle a different look in a “cool, modern way.” With the money spent on it just for 1,964 cars, will we see more of them—maybe even for regular production—come 2016?
