When the 2015 Mustang EcoBoost, the model powered by Ford’s 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, reaches the market later this year, it will also offer an optional Performance Package.
The performance package will cost $1,995 and offer a larger rear sway bar, unique chassis tuning, larger brakes, a bigger radiator, summer performance tires, and a 3.55 limited slip rear axle.
To note, the fifth-generation Mustang was offered with two performance packages in its latter years of existence — the Performance Package for the V6 model and the Track Pack for the V8-powered GT model, respectively. Those packages added the following equipment to the V6 and GT Mustangs:

- Larger front sway bar and svt rear sway bar
- Unique front springs
- Unique front and rear calipers with performance friction pads
- 19-inch wheels
- 255/40r19 summer-only tires
- Unique stability control calibration

- 3.31 limited-slip rear axle
2012-2014 Ford Mustang GT Track Pack Contents:
- Torsen helical differential with 3.73:1 axle ratio
- Upgraded boss 302 radiator
- Engine oil cooler
- High-performance brembo brake pad friction material upgrade
- Brembo brake package
- Upgraded front and rear brakes (with unique caliper finish) and booster
- Unique front corner modules
- 19×9.0 premium paint (dark stainless) aluminum wheels and 255/40-19-summer-only tire
- Tire mobility kit
- Unique esc module tuning
