It was only a matter of time until professional tuners got their hands on the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang. Legendary tuning company Saleen has just released a teaser of its all-new S302.
Mustangs Daily published a statement from Saleen regarding the new S302: With this model being the first major Mustang redesign since 2005, we took this as an opportunity to push the limits in both design and performance. We feel this latest Saleen Mustang model is perfectly positioned as the next American exotic, campaigning on the world stage. As a first look, the final features and specifications of the 2015 S302 Mustang will be released as our unveiling and production draws nearer.
While not much else is known about the new car other than it being based off the new-gen Mustang, we can assume from the name that it will continue to use the 5.0-liter “Coyote” V8 as before. The current “Yellow Label” S302 is good for 625-horsepower, so with the recently announced 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, we wouldn’t be surprised if the new S302 adds a few more ponies to its stable.
