2014 Ford F150 Raptor With An Extra Dose Of Freedom To Be Sold At Mecum Dallas

It doesn’t get much more American than the Ford F-150. The full-size pickup is designed and built in the US of A and has been the best-selling vehicle in the country for the past 23 years. So what happens when you take the F-150 Raptor, the most American version of the most American truck, and inject with an extra dose of freedom? You get this custom F-150 Raptor set to go under the gavel at Mecum’s Dallas auction.

Right away you’ll notice the Raptor has been covered in a special American Flag paint scheme. The flag is not a decal or a wrap, but rather an extremely well-done painted mural. The patriotic theme continues in the cabin of the truck with the stars and stripes painted on the trim pieces and the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy crests professionally stitched into the headrests.

All the work on the truck was done by famous California tuning shop West Coast Customs. It’s not clear how much Mecum is asking for the truck, however all proceeds from its sale will go towards the Cars for Troops charity, which benefits disabled US Military veterans. Check out the listing here for additional photos and info before the car is sold on September 3 at Mecum Dallas.
