50th Anniversary 2015 Mustang No. 1964 Headed To Auction

Ford Motor Company is hoping that a particular 2015 Mustang will bring in a high dollar to help charity when production number 1,964 is auctioned off by Barrett-Jackson.

Ford says the 1,964 production unit is the last one they will build of the 50 Years Limited Edition 2015 Mustang. A special badge will be added to this particular 2015 Mustang to denote this historic event. The Sept. 25-27 Barrett-Jackson auction in Las Vegas, NV will see the Mustang cross the stage. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Henry Ford Health System’s Edith and Benson Ford Heart & Vascular Institute.

Along with winning the car, the highest bidder will receive a VIP package to the Ford Championship Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway. This event will have the preproduction 50 Years Mustang as the official pace car.
