Porsche 911 Carrera Police Patrol Vehicle

If this PPV were ever actually dealt in volume, a lot of bad guys would probably be out of a job.

Porsche Cars Australia created this amazing, one-off 911 Carrera Police Patrol Vehicle for the police of New South Wales, Australia. But it’s not so much a speed-fighting superweapon for the fuzz as it is a promotional vehicle, aimed at grabbing students’ attention so they’ll be more actively engaged with the NSW police force’s community involvement.

This Porsche 911 Carrera Police Patrol Vehicle is actually a sequel of sorts, after a Porsche Panamera-based PPV was given to the NSW police for the same purpose, in 2012.

The decals on this pursuit vehicle were the result of a public competition, where citizens were asked to submit their proposals for a chance to win. The resulting livery that you see here was the handiwork of a student from the University of West Sydney. This Porsche 911 Carrera Police Patrol Vehicle wears blue-and-white checkered stripes down near the door sills, a law enforcement seal on the hood, and a very tasty two-tone paint job: deep metallic blue, and white.

On the off-chance that this lethal 911 Carrera Police Patrol Vehicle should ever be needed to run down some evil-doers, it is still appropriately equipped, complete with a standard light bar, sirens, and other cop goodies.

Oh yeah, and a top speed of about 160 mph.
