2015 Audi Q5, SQ5 Get Equipment-Level Changes And New Features

Audi is making a few notable equipment-level updates to its popular Q5 and SQ5 crossovers for the 2015 model year. The changes consist of new standard features and new equipment packages, and are similar to those in store for the 2015 A4.

To start, the 2015 Q5 gains xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights and the power tailgate as standard equipment. In addition, the MMI navigation plus package is now available on all Q5 Premium Plus and SQ5 Premium Plus models. To note, the MMI navigation plus package consists of MMI navigation plus, Audi connect, parking system plus, and Audi side assist.

Rounding out the changes is the newfound availability of the High-Gloss Black Package on the 2015 SQ5; the package is equivalent to the Black Optics package that was available on 2014 model year Audi A4 models and consists of Gloss Black exterior body elements and body-color side mirror housings. For 2015, the package adds new 20-inch, 5-V-spoke design Titanium-finished wheels for both the 2015 Q5 and the 2015 SQ5.
