Vaughn Gittin Jr. Turns 2015 F-150 Into A Drifter And An Off-Roader: SEMA 2014

Let’s just say that Vaughn Gittin Jr., of Formula DRIFT fame, had a unique set of capabilities in mind when designing this 2015 Ford F-150 for SEMA.

“I love trucks, and to build one that has daily on- and off-road capabilities, as well as drifting and jumping capabilities is something I have always wanted to do,” he said.

So he took a 2015 F-150 and added King Shocks good for 12 inches of travel, along with a Kibbetech custom suspension system coupled with an Air Lift Performance air suspension. The result is a purpose-built truck that feels right at home performing a controlled drift and then taking on an off-road course, while turning heads, eliciting huge smiles, and providing massive amounts of fun and adrenaline for up to five passengers who strap into its Recaro seats. And since it is the all-new, aluminum-bodied 2015 F-150 we’re talking about, it has all of the weight savings and serious torque offered by the new truck as well.

“I am really pumped to get crazy in this F-150 at SEMA this year”, said Gittin Jr.

Frankly speaking, so are we.
