Is This The First Wrecked 2015 Mustang?

How many 2015 Ford Mustangs have you seen on the street? I’ve seen several press cars, but privately driven new-gen Mustangs are few and far between to these eyes. It’s still so new to me I would have to pause, admire, and take a closer look − this despite the fact that I was at the Mustang’s unveiling in December 2013. Even though there are the rarified few who have been able to experience the first-mover effect and be among the first Mustang owners, there’s also one person who can claim the distinction of “first 2015 Mustang accident” − is this it?

Truth be told, there’s no saying this is the first 2015 Mustang to experience a mishap but, as you can see, the above car has experienced some front-end damage. According to Insurance Auto Auctions (IAA), this V6-powered Mustang has only 469 miles. With the assistance from the folks at mustang6g.com, we know that it came with 18-inch wheels and was originally sent to Marty Franich Ford  in Tulsa on October 21, 2014 and ended up as an Enterprise Rent-A-Car vehicle.

Funny thing is that IAA has another damaged 2015 Mustang, so which one really was the first?
