Ford still hasn’t said a thing about what these videos are about, but we do know that something special is gonna happen on November 17, 2014, just in time for the Los Angeles Auto Show. Today Ford released video #4 out of 5, this one touting “performance design.” Undoubtedly, it’s for the 2016 Ford Mustang GT350
Watching the below video, Ford brings up footage of its “Total Performance” effort where the GT40 made a 1-2-3 sweep at Le Mans. It’s that era that continues to influence Ford’s cars today − witness the Ford GT from a decade ago . . . and possibly the Mustang GT350 for 2016.
Ford’s racing pedigree doesn’t stop at the finish line − track-inspired design cues are a part of Ford’s high-performance cars for the street, and they are going to make their way onto “a new performance sports car coming soon from Ford.” AKA, the Mustang GT350. In fact, Ford Executive VP Joe Hinrichs characterizes front-end styling of this mystery car as saying, “I’m mean, I’m raw, and I wanna go.”
