2015 Mustang Convertible Finally Headed To Dealerships

If you’ve been waiting for the 2015 Mustang Convertible to hit the streets, now is that time, as the Ford Motor Company has announced that it will begin shipping to dealerships nationwide this week.

“Cold weather may have come unseasonably early this year, but with available heated seats, remote start, and selectable drive modes with a snow/wet setting, Mustang is the perfect offering for the season,” said Mustang brand manager Melanie Banker. “While these [heated] seats also have a cooling feature, we suspect customers won’t be using this function for a few more months.”

Remote start is standard on all Mustangs equipped with the automatic transmission, and offers owners the ability to warm up their Mustang − including the interior. And when inclement weather’s got you down, you can choose among a series of selectable drive modes. Standard on premium Mustang models, the modes feature a wet/snow setting that tweaks throttle response, steering effort, and traction control to exploit traction and control to their maximum.

“Mustangs are made for year-round practicality and enjoyment, so it’s exciting that customers are taking delivery of their convertible Mustang models – regardless of the season,” Banker added.
