Ford Delivers First 2015 F-150 To Texas Resident Tim Kingsbury

On Wednesday, November 26th, 2014, Ford sold its first all-new 2015 F-150 pickup truck to San Antonio, Texas resident Tim Kingsbury, who is officially the first buyer in the United States of The Blue Oval’s smartest, toughest and most capable truck ever.

An avid hunter and retired high school football coach, Kingsbury is the father of current Texas Tech Red Raiders football coach, Kliff Kingsbury.

The 2015 F-150 uses military-grade aluminum for strength as well as to decrease the truck’s weight, with the new F-150 weighing up to 700 pounds less than current models. That, in turn, makes it 5 percent to 29 percent more fuel efficient than current F-150 models, depending on engine and driveline configuration on the combined cycle (city and highway).

Congrats to Mr. Kingsbury on his new truck! May he enjoy it thoroughly.
