The 2015 Mustang GT is already quite powerful and robust from the factory, but here’s a nice example of a unit with more than double the power from the factory thanks to Evolution Performance.
According to GT Spirit, the team took the second-gen Coyote 5.0-liter V8 and proceeded to hook up a Vortech V-7 JT supercharger with an Evolution air-to-water intercooler and Evolution Super Stealth plenum, along with new fuel injectors from Injector Dynamics and a 50-mm blow-off valve from TiAl Sport. Rounding out the upgrades are 1-7/8-inch headers by American Racing and an exhaust by X-pipe and Pure Thunder. Put together, those mods make 900 rear-wheel horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque. Best of all, Evolution Performance can help you achieve similar results thanks to the availability of complete kits and plenums on the Evolution Performance website.
