Volkswagen U.S. Sales Up 3.2 Percent To 31,725 Units In November 2014: By The Numbers

Volkswagen dealers delivered 31,725 new vehicles in the Unites States in November 2014, up 3.25 percent from November 2013. The growth is mostly due to the increase in sales of the all-new Golf and Golf GTI, as well as the refreshed Jetta.

These awards applaud the line up’s versatility, quality and value,” said Mark McNabb, chief operating officer, Volkswagen of America. “Partnered with the refreshed Jetta and upcoming redesigned Touareg, the potential for increased showroom traffic looks promising.”

November sales highlights (vs. November 2013, except as noted):

• Golf model sales grew 78 percent to 3,993 units
• Jetta model sales grew 25.9 percent to 15,663 units
• Beetle model sales dropped 41 percent to 1,665 units
• Passat sales dropped 21.52 percent to 6,966 units
• Tiguan sales dropped to 6.85 percent to 2,082 units
• Touareg sales rose 1.4 percent to 678 units
