As if winning the 2014 North American Truck of the Year — the grand-daddy of all pickup truck trophies — weren’t enough, Ford was bestowed another accolade that it can add to its growing arsenal of 2015 F-150 awards, garnering Urban Truck of the Year honors at the 19th installment of the Urban Wheels Awards.
According to UWA judges, the 2015 Ford F-150 won over the 2015 Cadillac Escalade as the most stylish and practical truck of the new model year due to its “potentially revolutionary use of aluminum… substantial weight loss” and “great mileage”.
