The most exciting part about the new Audi TT, in our opinion, is the new technolgy in the car, such as Audi’s virtual cockpit and Matrix beam LED laser headlights. The automaker has already detailed the TT’s virtual cockpit display at length, and is now turning its attention to the sports car’s new laser beam headlights.
Audi’s matrix beam differs from standard LED headlights in many different ways. It adapts to the driving conditions at hand, directing its beam away from oncoming traffic, while still giving the driver adequte road illumination. The system will also predict bends in the road, ensuring the lights are delviering the maximum amount oif headlight coverage at all times.
So, the Matrix beam technology will keep you safer, and you can tell everyone you have laser beams for headlights. Double win.
