Audi Recalls S4, S5, Q7, A6, S7 Over Potential Fuel Leak

Audi is recalling several models over a potential fuel leak in the fuel injection system, which increases the risk of a fire.

The problem: in affected vehicles, the fuel injection system may experience a leak, which increases the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source.

Affected vehicles:

  • 2011-2012 Audi S4
  • 2011-2012 Audi S5
  • 2011-2012 Audi Q7
  • 2012 Audi A6
  • 2012-2013 Audi A7

Number of vehicles affected: unspecified.

The fix: beginning March 10, 2015, Audi will notify owners of the recall. Dealers will replace the fuel rails and corresponding seals free of charge to the customer.
