Car Bros recently tested the all-new 2015 Mustang and compared it to another sporty coupe, the Scion FR-S. They did a fine job reporting the hard facts along with their honest opinions to determine which car came out on top.
In one corner is the Mustang (“America’s original sports car”), which has a “host of first-ever features” for the model, including an independent rear suspension and a turbocharged motor, showing Ford is ready to challenge its foreign rivals. The pony really has what it takes to be the world’s best sports car and “you feel like a rock star” driving it. Clearly, the sixth-generation is the best Mustang ever.
In the other corner is the FR-S — a product of a newfound collaboration between Japanese automakers Toyota and Subaru. It’s sold in other places around the world as the Toyota GT86, and its magic is in the way drives. The compact coupe is exceptionally precise and well-mannered, while drifting enthusiasts will embrace the ease with which the rear of the FR-S can step out.
