Ford has earned itself four seperate Detroit News Readers’ Choice awards for its F-150, SVT F-150 Raptor and GT Supercar at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Just 100 judges of 1,000 applicants were chosen to deliberate over the awards. They were sent around the floor of the North American International Auto Show in Detroit to get familair with the nominees, picking their respective choices for each of the 10 categories.
The GT supercar took home overall top honors, with the F-150 Raptor winning the ‘Most Awesome Off-Road’ award and the standard F-150 taking home the ‘Most Innovative’ award for its alumnium body and EcoBoost engine. In addition to being recognized as best-in-show, the GT also won the ‘Best Curves’ award.
