Volkswagen Recalls Touareg Hybrid Over Potential Fuel Leak

Volkswagen is recalling the Touareg Hybrid over a potential fuel leak in the fuel injection system, which increases the risk of a fire.

The problem: in affected vehicles, the fuel injection system may experience a leak, which increases the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source.

Affected vehicles: 2012 Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid.

Number of vehicles affected: unspecified.

The fix: beginning March 10, 2015, Volkswagen will notify owners of the recall. Dealers will replace the fuel rails and corresponding seals free of charge to the customer.
