Successful DJ and music producer EDM DJ Deadmau5 is quite the unusual car collector: his stable of vehicles consists of a BAC Mono, McLaren P1 and 650S, a Range Rover, a “custom” Jeep Rubicon with an SRT engine, and a Bentley Continental GT Supersports. That’s quite the eclectic variety. But probably the most famous (or infamous, depending on how you look at it) is the Ferrari 458 with graphics from the Nyancat internet meme.
As the story goes, Ferrari didn’t seem to care too much for the so-dubbed “Purrari”, sending him a cease-and-desist. And with the 458 now unwrapped, the Canadian has reportedly chosen the next victim for the Nyancat graphics treatment. After tempting offers from Nissan for a Nyancat GT-R, Deadmau5 has reportedly chosen a Lamborghini Huracán, or “Purracan,” to replace his Nyancat-mobile.
Having announced plans to take delivery of the Lamborghini Huracán in May, the DJ recently tweeted a photo showcasing how the superar will look like after getting the Nyancat graphics treatment. Some would say that it’s the most bizarre treatment of a supercar. Ever. But we know there are some who think that it is so unordinary, debonair, and amazing above all else.
No matter where your opinion stands, we would be remiss not to warn Toronto residents and visitors alike of the beast, since you never know when Deadmau5 just may pick you up as an Uber driver.
