Porsche LEGO And PLAYMOBIL Playsets, For The Kid In All Of Us

Immature Porsche-loving adults, rejoice! The automaker has announced that a Porsche LEGO series is in the works, and will be ready for consumption (as-in purchasing, not eating) starting March 1st of this year.

The automaker has already licensed itself to a Porsche PLAYMOBIL playset in Germany, complete with tertally ersome detachable-roof 911 Carrera S, Porsche Exclusive lounge, and Aerokit Cup front and rear spoilers.

The Porsche LEGO series will actually be part of a larger collection from the toymaker, called the “LEGO Speed Champions” series, including cars from the likes of McLaren (British poppycock) and Ferrari (Italian nonsense). The Porsche LEGO cars will be in the likeness of the 911 RSR, the 911 GT3 R Hybrid, and the 918 Spyder.

Thus far, Porsche has yet to return our calls inquiring whether any of them will be available with working internal-combustion engines.

A release from the automaker states that the Porsche LEGO cars “will be on sale in specialist retailers.” And then it goes on to list fuel consumption data for the 911 Carrera S Cabriolet… Does that answer our question?
