Volkswagen T6 Rendered From Tristar Concept

Volkswagen is working on an a refreshed line of the Transporter light commercial vehicle range. Thought to be called T6 (for sixth iteration), the refreshed (as opposed to an all-new) range is slated to be revealed in May of 2015 after Volkswagen let it be known in September 2014 that it will reveal the T6 in the foreseeable future. And thanks to a rendering from X-Tomi Design, we have a pretty good idea of what the vehicle could look like.

Since the Volkswagen T6 will be more evolutionary than revolutionary compared to the T5, we expect its dimensions to remain the same to the current model, including the 9-foot and 11-foot wheelbases. Engines will continue to be familiar Volkswagen powerplants, including the Golf and Passat, and the whole vehicle should be bundled in a user-friendly package. What’s more, we expect that VW will improve the quality of the interior, incorporating better materials to improve fit-and-finish.

Stay tuned for an official reveal of the upcoming Volkswagen Transporter T6 in the coming months.
