South Carolina Man Converts First-Gen F-150 Raptor To 1993 Ford Bronco: Video

Engine swaps are cool and all, but what is even cooler are body transitions that transform one car into something entirely different. Unfortunately, the problem with swapping bodies, especially if it’s newer components going into older vehicles, is that sometimes it doesn’t work as seamlessly as one would hope. But that doesn’t seem to be the case at all with this Ford Raptor turned Ford Bronco. As Bangshift reports, the transition looks effortless, as if nothing out of the ordinary has been done with this Bronco at all.

That’s because the host platform is actually a shortened Raptor frame with a Ford Bronco body plopped on top. And it looks incredible. Not only is the Bronco clean, but every mechanical piece from the Raptor is present and accounted for, including the Raptor’s suspension, 6.2-liter V8, and all of the other bits that make the Raptor one of the coolest trucks in some time. The only thing giving away this transformation are the giant Raptor wheels wrapped in rock-crawling rubber, but even those look at home on the Bronco.  The guys at Tumblin Automotive really had their work cut out for them, but the end result is worth it — and we must commend them on a job very well-done.

This build may go down as the cleanest and most impressive transformations we’ve seen in some time, and the dyno numbers prove how capable this new-school-gone-old-school truck truly is.
