2017 Audi TT RS Rendered

Audi has yet to confirm it will produce a high performance TT RS based on the third-generation of the two-door sports car, but that hasn’t stopped Top Speed from imagining what it may look like. With a front body kit, side skirts, a small rear wing and a rear diffuser, the first TT RS made no attempts to hide what it was, and Top Speed is expecting the second model to receive a similar treatment.

In dreaming up the second-gen TT RS, which may arrive for the 2017 model year if it ends up getting the green light from Audi, Top Speed applied a low front body kit, subtle side skirts and a small rear wing. Like the first TT RS, the rendering also sports a silver lower lip on the front bumper, complimenting other silver features on the car such as the grille surround and wing mirrors.

We don’t think this rendering will appear too far off from the real TT RS, assuming it will reach production. We’re expecting design cues similar to those seen on the TT 420 Quattro concept from Geneva 2014 to appear on the production TT RS, and at a first glance, this rendering looks a bit like the concept. It should also be boasting similar power to the 420 concept, with rumors suggesting a 400 horsepower version of the RS3 Sportback’s 2.5-liter five-cylinder will be used.
