Get Schooled With This 1979 Ford Falcon-Based ‘Book Tank’

What do you get when you mix a 1979 Ford Falcon with loads of ingenuity and a pinch of sheer determination? We don’t really know, but Argentine-based artist Raul Lemesoff came up with a completely mad creation he calls the weapons of mass instruction, a tank shaped vehicle – a rolling sculpture, really – stuffed with 900 books.

Lemesoff, a zany character with a fun and infectious personality, distributes the books to people on one condition: “you can have a book for free, if you promise to read it,” he says. Part engineer, part visionary, and part clown, Lemesoff reminds us that life is meant to be enjoyed to the fullest. As you’ll see in the video below, which we promise you’ll love, Lemesoff is in his element cruising the streets in his tank-shaped book-mobile.

“I don’t do it for money. I don’t do it for fame. I just do this because I have fun doing it,” he says.

Hats off to you, Mr. Lemesoff.
