Jon Olsson’s 950HP Audi RS6 Avant Goes Winter Rallying: Video

Jon Olsson is a professional skier from Sweden, but he’s perhaps better known for his insane array of cars. He recently put his Rebellion R2K in which he drove in the 2014 Gumball 3000 up for sale, but to no one’s surprise, he had something equally as maniacal on the wait.

Jon says he had always liked the look of Germany’s DTM racecars, and wanted to create a similar wide-body style car for the road. He used Audi’s 570 horsepower, 4.0-liter twin turbocharged V8 RS6 Avant as his base car, adding a wide body kit and various carbon fiber fins and diffusers with the help of former Koenigsegg engineer Leif Tufvesson to make it look more DTM-esque.

He couldn’t stop at the super wagon’s appearance, so he turned to Stertman Motorsport, who installed their Stage 3 upgrade kit on the car, bumping output to around 950 horsepower on pump gas. That should be enough to get you to the top of the ski slope, eh Jon?

Olsson’s recently demonstrated the prowess of his 100 horsepower station wagon in a commercial Bet Safe, who is again sponsoring for the Gumball 300. Check it out below, and if you stick around until the end, you can sign up for a contest to participate in the Gumball 3000 yourself.
