Lamborghini has officially launched its heritage restoration arm under the name Polo Storico. The department will take care of the Sant’Agata brand’s historical archives, vehicle restoration center and vehicle certification and will also supply certified spare parts for all historical Lamborghini models.
One of Lamborghini Storico’s prime functions will be to oversee the Archivio Storico Lamborghini. The automaker’s historical archives include thorough documentation of historical models, technical drawings and write-ups, images and much more. Lamborghini Polo Storico will offer these different documents in physical format, but will also make them accessible online for owners and fans of the automaker.
Polo Storico will also help to preserve, maintain and restore historical Lamborghini models by providing original spare parts to owners. The automaker says the division will ensure restorations are professional and as close as possible to the original car. Additionally, Polo Storico can provide certification for Lamborghini classic cars following a technical inspection, protecting the vehicle’s value as it ages.
