Bentley Bentayga SUV Interior Teased: Video

The Bentley Bentayga SUV has yet to show its face, apart from the odd spy shot captured while prototypes go testing in public. Now, however, we do have a decent idea of what to expect from the new Bentley’s interior.

The video below from the manufacturer gives us our first glimpse of the interior treatment of the Bentley Bentayga, a video which chiefly stresses the tactile sensations of the vehicle’s many touchable surfaces and interfaces. But, we also see various shots depicting things like a heads up display, an infrared camera feed on the instrument cluster, and an apparently finger print-scanning Engine Start-Stop button requiring the most gentle of touches to actuate.

The Bentley Bentayga is expected to be unveiled later this year, appearing in showrooms sometime in 2016. Though its platform will be shared with the likes of the Audi Q7, VW Toureg, and Porsche Cayenne, a Bentley W12 powerplant is expected to optionally grace the SUV at launch. Diesel and plug-in hybrid powertrains are anticipated to follow suit later.
