As part of its growth strategy for the North African market, the Ford Motor Company has announced plans to bring seven new vehicles to the region in 2015. The announcement comes on the heels of the automaker announcing the opening of two new offices in Morocco to handle North African operations.
Though Ford hasn’t stated what the seven vehicles coming to Africa will be, we expect them to include:
- New Figo
- Ranger midsize pickup truck
- Everest midsize SUV
- All-new Edge midsize crossover
- Explorer full-size crossover
- All-new Mustang
There’s six vehicles right there, with a seventh possibly being the convertible variant of the Mustang, which Ford could count as a separate model.
To note, Ford currently offers the following seven vehicles in most North African markets, such as Morocco:
- Ka
- New Fiesta (global)
- Focus 5-door hatchback
- Focus 4-door sedan
- B-MAX (new model)
- C-MAX (new model)
- Fusion (global Fusion/Mondeo)
- Kuta (global Kuga/Escape)
