Porsche Customers From The World Over Take Delivery At Zuffenhausen

Owning a Porsche is a lifelong dream of many, but only becomes a reality for a few. The automaker has no interest in losing its characteristic exclusivity, after all.

So if you’ve made it to the point in your life that you’re fortunate enough to be able to own one of Germany’s finest sportscars, how do you choose to celebrate? Many customers, from 1950 all the way to the present day, have opted to collect their new Porsches directly from the marque’s factory in Zuffenhausen.

Of course nowadays, customers also have the choice of retrieving their new sportscar from the factory in Leipzig, instead – a second Porsche plant which was only just completed in the year 2000. But whether one travels to Leipzig, or to Zuffenhausen in the north of Stuttgart, the collection of one’s new Porsche is always a big event. Those visiting Zuffenhausen may even elect to take part in a program encompassing lunch, a tour of the factory, and a visit to the nearby Porsche Museum.

However, we imagine that the day’s climactic height is always the moment when the keys are handed to the Porsche’s new owner, and they drive out of Leipzig or Zuffenhausen at full tilt in their very own, brand new Porsche sportscar.

Not a bad way to spend a day.
