Alfa Romeo is set to officially unveil their Giulia compact sedan later today, however photos of the stylish 3-Series fighter leaked online yesterday, giving us an early look at the Italian automaker’s next all-new model.
The photos, which were first dug up by CarScoops, show the car in Quadrifoglio Verde trim, which is expected to be the range-topping performance variant. There’s also an aggressive rear diffuser housing twin exhaust pipes, a set of Alfa Romeo 4C-like wheels and a small rear lip spoiler.
Even though the Giulia’s debut is close, very little is known about the car’s powertrain and platform. This Quadrifoglio Verde car will reportedly pack a 510 horsepower version of the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 found in the Maserati Ghibli under its hood, while lesser models will likely have four-cylinder engines on offer. Some chassis components are also understood to have been borrowed from Ghibli, however all should become clear following its debut.
